Bishop Browne Wants Gov’t to Reject Lodge Money

Published

The Ministry of Health has received a clear demand to return the $86,700.00 donation from the Masonic Lodge or the Three Masons.

Bishop Charlesworth Browne, Head of the Christian Ministries Center in Antigua and Barbuda, is making the demand.

The Masonic Lodge donated the money to the hospital for the purchase of an ultrasound machine for the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center.

“There is something sinister and something evil brewing under the cover of this donation”, Browne told reporters Sunday

The Worship Master of Antigua Samaritan Lodge, Arthur Thomas, presented a significant donation to Sir Molwyn Joseph.

However, Browne cautioned the public about the potential spiritual implications of accepting such a donation.

“A contribution of $86,700 dollars. This number has a meaning. It is called an Angel number. It is deliberate that the Lodge decided to give $86,700.00”, he added

“I want to say to the minister of health, the Cabinet, and the government that they need to give that money back to the Lodge. If they already deposited it, take it off the account and get a check. Give them back their money. We are living in dangerous dark times”, he advised.

Furthermore, Bishop Browne said he is also concerned that the donation is to go towards the ultrasound department of the hospital

“For those who are uninformed and not sensitive towards dynamics about certain things among us, this will just pass them by. I am still flabbergasted about the baldness of the Lodge these days. They used to be a secret society and taboo, but they are now out in the open. I have seen even clergymen a part of it. This is not to be taken lightly,” he said

    Sir Molwyn Joseph claimed to be a Christian (a born again believer and follower of Jesus Christ) of the Adventist Church and he should know better not to accept such donations. Bishop Brown, I am sorry for you because you are speaking to wrong person. You should know who the Labor Party Ministers are greedy and about self enrichment. Continue praying for them, especially Sir Molwyn Joseph, that their spiritual eyes will be open soon!!

      What. A. Hypocrite!!! I bet if it was donated to his church he would NEVER return it! It is easy to make such a grand stance when it is somebody else who has to return it! I don’t know when people are going to usher themselves into this enlightened Age, and realize that a lot of the antiquated, rank, superstitions were just the minds of IGNORANT people allowed to run rampant! The Lodge is merely a secret society. It’s a brotherhood. It is mainly about NETWORKING! Why do you think most of their members are well off? It is because they support and bolster each other! I know this because my late father was an “Odd Fellow” member. It is not evil. It is not mysticism! It is good old fashioned NETWORKING!

    Bishhop Browne, I applaud you and stand by you. Jeremiah 5 states FIVE times “Will I not visit a Nation such as this.” All over the Island, Scriptures are plastered on bits of wood in trees and many of them state Ezekiel 7, 8 and 9. Chapter 8 verse 18 states “You will call for me and I will hear you but will not answer when I send judgement upon you. WE need to stand for what is Godly, Holy and Righteous.

    Well ……for the deluded religious fanatics….lodge can simply give the donation to someone else and that someone could easily passi it on to the ministry of health. Exercising idiocrisy in these times is even more disdainful than presumtious spiritual contempt….in other words, Bishop, don’t be a jackass. Obviously, the Bishops overly religious spiritual “piety” totally misconstrued the good Samaritan parable, which I think he must’ve totally forgotten.

      The devil is NOT in the Lodges! He is in the CHURCHES! He is in the so-called righteous people, spouting and quoting scriptures with evil hearts! Where is the monies from the churches? Which one of you good ole Christian folks do anything for your neighbors and the less fortunate??? SEEMS YOU ONLY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MONEY WHEN IT’S NOT GOING INTO THE CHURCH’S COFFERS! HYPOCRITES!!!!

    You’re supposed to usher the hypocrites, vipers and backbiters out, not bring them in. The Church’s foundation is Christ not congregation. Before attacking God, have due diligence and read the bible for yourself actually. And research the originality of the masonry. Target the spirit behind it. If you believe in prayer nothing is ever too religious. Your mouth would be damning you to claim the bride of Christ is the wicked. Judas was a devil even in discipleship. The word warns of ravening wolves in sheep’s clothing. All this energy against God, the Christ and none to activeky read and engage with tbe Spirit. By the way news has been going as we want to go further from God and his teachings should be enough wisdom to utilize towards understanding. They definitely know what they are doing, but do we know what of them we have been receiving?

    Titus 1:5-16 (KJV) For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:
    If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.
    For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;
    But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;
    Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
    For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:
    Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.
    One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
    This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
    Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
    Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
    They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

      …And so my point is proven! Go around quoting scriptures from the very same Bible that was used to enslave my people! The WHITE MAN’S RELIGION IS NOT MINE! That book and his religion, has given him power and vindication! I DO NOT HAVE A RELIGION! I have a philosophy by which I live: “First, do no harm!” The worst people I’ve met in my life, I MET IN CHURCH! ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!
