Prime Minister Gaston Browne has suggested that there may be a place for former UPP member Anthony Smith within the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party.
Anthony Smith, who is an independent candidate, has been appointed as Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Lands, and Blue Economy.
The Prime Minister stated, “While he will initially serve as an independent member of Parliament and will work in collaboration with the ABLP, I am confident that there will be additional opportunities for him to form an even closer connection with the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party.”
