Officials at Her Majesty’s Prison (HMP) are looking into the passing of another male prisoner

40-year-old Jeff Richardson died in prison on Monday

Colonel Trevor Pennyfeather, the Superintendent of Prisons, confirmed the death to Antigua.news.

He said the police were at the location last night to collect information.

According to Pennyfeather, the death happened unexpectedly.

Richardson was remanded about one month ago on a wounding charge.
