Tedson Knowles, who was found guilty of murdering his girlfriend in a domestic incident at their New Winthorpes home in 2019, will receive his sentence on July 23.

Last month, a jury convicted Knowles for the fatal shooting of Chandler, which occurred on May 23, 2019, in their New Winthorpes residence.

The tragedy unfolded during what authorities believe was a domestic dispute between the couple.

Medical evidence presented during the trial indicated that Chandler was shot at close range from the front.

A doctor testified that she succumbed to massive blood loss resulting from a gunshot wound to her chest.

The incident took place in the apartment complex where Knowles and Chandler resided.

Neighbors provided crucial testimony, recounting hearing arguments, the sounds of items breaking and falling, and shuffling noises on the day of the incident.

One witness reported hearing a loud bang and claimed to have heard Chandler cry out for help before collapsing at the bottom of a staircase.
