Prime Minister Gaston Browne has warned men in Antigua and Barbuda that abusing women and children will have long-term psychosocial impacts on their lives.

During Thursday’s eulogy for his mother, Browne openly shared personal details about his family life.

He revealed that, in addition to being the sole breadwinner for three children, his late mother also faced the challenges of domestic violence and severe economic hardship due to prolonged unemployment and neglectful fathers who failed in their responsibilities towards their children.
