Alex Feng back behind bars

Alex Feng, a Chinese national notorious for his 2021 arson attack on the XPZ store, has once again found himself on the wrong side of the law and has now been remanded to prison.

Feng, who served a three-year sentence for burning down the Factory Road building, was recently released and had been residing in Potters.

However, his freedom was short-lived. Authorities were alerted after videos surfaced showing Feng causing disturbances near the rebuilding site of the XPZ store.

According to police reports, Feng trespassed onto the property and engaged in destructive behaviour, breaking a glass window, damaging several galvanized panels, and breaking a metal gate.

As a result of these actions, Feng now faces multiple charges, including malicious damage, use of threatening language, and throwing missiles.

The allegations, coupled with his criminal history, led to his remand in custody following a recent court appearance.

The case has been adjourned until next Friday to allow time for the court to secure an interpreter, ensuring Feng’s right to fully understand the proceedings against him.

    • Misplaced loyalty, my friend. Try him, convict him, jail him then repatriate him. We don’t need his kind in an already crime infested Antigua. Besides, with their numbers ncreasing daily, we need to nip this potential genocide agent in the bud.
