George Chiddick to Appear in Court Today on Firearms Charges

George Chiddick Charged with Firearm Offences

George Akeba Chiddick is scheduled to appear in the St. John’s Magistrate’s Court today to answer a series of serious firearms-related charges.

Chiddick, residing at No. 3 George Street, is accused of the following offenses:

Shooting With Intent to do Grievous Bodily Harm, Possession of a .32 Pistol, Possession of a .32 Round of Ammunition, and Making Use of a Firearm for the Commission of an Offense.

On the morning of August 6, it was reported that the accused allegedly fired a weapon at a woman residing at No. 3 George Street, resulting in a wound to her left leg.

The victim received medical treatment at the hospital and was subsequently discharged.

Following the incident, a bulletin was issued for the arrest of George Akeba Chiddick. He voluntarily surrendered to the authorities on Thursday.

  3. This man doesn’t deserve bail to come out and repeat his act he needs to be punished so that when he comes out that he doesn’t want to watch any kind of weapons again
