Riccardo McKenzie, a 28-year-old Jamaican citizen, has been sentenced to one year and eight months in prison in Antigua after pleading guilty to illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.

On Monday authorities discovered a loaded 9mm automatic pistol and seven rounds of matching ammunition in plain sight in a vehicle McKenzie was traveling in.

He was accompanied by O’Neil Swaby, a 34-year-old fellow Jamaican national.

Both men were initially arrested and charged. However, McKenzie took the blame.

However, Swaby did not escape consequences. He was deported from Antigua the day following the arrest.

  2. Is this with or without hard labour? Hopefully this scumbag will be repatriated immediately upon comedian of his sentence. It just irks me to think that our taxpayers will be expected to pay for his accommodation at 1735
