Smith died, but Oliver and Joseph survived.

The incident occurred in Ebenezer while the police were responding to a report of a robbery at a superette in Parham.

Additionally, yesterday the police also shot a 20-year-old man from Green Bay. He remains hospitalized and under police guard following an alleged robbery.

The incident took place around 1:45 pm on Thursday, August 22, at the Pillar Rock Beach area. It is alleged that the armed suspect robbed a family of several electronic items and cash while they were at the beach.

A report was made to the police, and during the process of apprehending the suspect, he shot at the police. In response, the police returned fire, shooting him in the hand.
