PM Browne Lends a Hand at the General Post Office?

9 September 2024 - 11:23

Prime Minister Gaston Browne at General Post Office

The post office workers have returned to work today, Monday, but they will only be working from 8 a.m to 12.pm

This comes after years of workers advocating for improved working conditions.

Joan Peters, their union representative, has confirmed their decision to resume work while they await retrofitting work on another building.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Gaston Browne was also spotted at the Post Office building today.

It remains unclear whether he was there to help sort out mail or to provide assurance to the workers.

  1. some people feels the PM job is easy having to share his lifetime between so many governmental departments plus family life plus plus plus. Mr. PM keep up the good job you’re doing but those in charge of GPO need to do their job properly
