Oh Please!: D Gisele Says Arif Jonas Was Never Active in UPP

Arif Jonas

D Gisel Isacc, chairwoman of the United Progressive Party, says Kevin Arif Jonas was not actively involved in the UPP and that his resignation would not impact the party.

UPP Leader Jamal Pringle confirmed Jonas’s resignation on Wednesday.

Isacc dismissed the idea of turmoil, saying that Jonas had not been active in the UPP for years due to personal reasons.

She emphasized that his resignation did not affect the party’s operations, as he was not an officer and had not played a significant role in the party’s operations since 2018, including in IT.

She also mentioned that many new members had joined the UPP since the last election and that a high-profile figure had recently joined during the General Membership Meeting.

“Oh, please! What turmoil? Arif has not been ‘active’ in the UPP for YEARS now for personal reasons. This resignation has not affected the Party’s operations and will not create nor contribute to any ‘turmoil, as he is not an officer, nor has he played any “significant” role in the Party’s operations since 2018 — including in IT,” she told NewsCO

Kevin Arif Jonas was the former chairman and caretaker of the UPP’s All Saints West Branch.

The UPP has experienced significant walkouts of party members, but political leader Jamal Pringle stated that the party is expected to welcome new members next month.

  1. After every convention there are always persons leaving, this isn’t anything new conventions and primaries cause divisions in any organization.
Persons leave and persons joined its all a part of politics

    • Yeah true I agree! Its a very unfortunate fact. But I don’t see you party getting any stronger than it is. Just too much going on behind the scenes.

  2. That’s right, Madam(?) Chair! When they dissent, belittle their contributions and send them packing. Anyone ever thought of recommending Madam(?) Chair for psychological assessment? Given her age, one is certainly due!

  3. What a great way to build confidence in a party. Madam PittBull with lipstick this isn’t the right verbiage when someone leaves. Discrediting their usefulness and trash talking their contribution is indicative of what other fallen soldiers have stated about you and that mouth of yours.
D Giselle and the entire UPP hierarchy you need some serious inflection.
This departure trend cannot continue. It’s time to stop the bleed and plug the swamp.
