PM Browne attends reception hosted by President Joe Biden

On Wednesday the country’s leader participated in a high-level panel discussion on Health and Climate Financing, held a bilateral with Mr. Hugh Evans; Co-Founder and CEO of Global Citizens and delivered a statement at the High-Level Meeting on Sea Level Rise. 

In the evening, Prime Minister Browne attended a reception hosted by the President of the United States of America, Joseph Biden and Dr. Jill Biden.  On Thursday, Prime Minster Browne also met with PAHO’s Director, Dr. Jarbas Barbosa, and Assistant Director, Dr. Rhonda Sealey-Thomas. 

On Friday, the prime minister will deliver the national statement to the UN General Assembly.

    I hope that our PM remembered to remind the US President of this millions awarded to us by the WTO and which the US constantly and brazenly ignores! Also, I hope that our distinguished PM took the time to chide/condemn the US for its ongoing illegal, inhumane treatment of Cuba over spurious claims of Cuba being an active supporter of terrorism made by the criminal Donald Trump in the final days of his Presidency.
