ABHTA’s Hospitality Job Fair Garners Over 600 Job-Seekers

The Antigua & Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association (ABHTA) hosted a successful Hospitality Job Fair on World Tourism Day 2024.
The event attracted over 600 job seekers and provided them with the opportunity to connect with 28 leading employers in the hospitality industry.

The event also offered discussions on educational paths within the hospitality sector.

The ABHTA expressed its commitment to supporting the next generation of hospitality professionals and creating a strong workforce to drive the future of Antigua and Barbuda’s tourism industry.

Craig Marshall, the Chairman of the ABHTA, expressed his enthusiasm regarding the impressive turnout and the professionalism exhibited by young job seekers.

“I was especially delighted to see a significant number of young individuals, some as young as 19, who were well-prepared and eager to participate in meaningful discussions about their future in the hospitality industry. It’s truly inspiring to witness their enthusiasm, and we take pride in offering this platform for them to commence their careers,” he remarked.
