The Windwards Island Cricket Board has announced that Clement Marcellin has taken on the role of President (Ag) of the organization following Dwain Gill’s resignation.

Marcellin, who previously served as Vice President, will hold this position until the constitutionally scheduled elections in 2025.

The board emphasized that this appointment is in line with the organization’s by-laws and articles of incorporation following Gill’s resignation.

Marcellin’s extensive experience in project management, technical services consulting, and education was highlighted by the board.

In his first statement as President (Ag), Marcellin expressed his dedication to upholding high governance and effective management standards.

He emphasized his commitment to maintaining the organization’s effective management and governance standards while continuing to strengthen cricket across the Windward Islands during the remainder of the term.
