Longtime Jamaica Gleaner court reporter Barbara Gayle was discovered deceased at her residence in Caymanas Country Club, St. Catherine, on Tuesday.

Authorities believe she may have been murdered, and her vehicle is reported missing.

Gayle had recently received recognition from the Press Association of Jamaica (PSOJ) for her more than 40 years of service in journalism.
