In 2023, he appeared to make a recovery after undergoing four surgical procedures and completing twelve rounds of chemotherapy.

I’m heartbroken by this. Conliffe’s was a great man and an even better friend. My heart goes out to his family. It’s uncommon to enjoy someone’s company equally throughout the decades.
