Antigua and Barbuda will make history this February as the nation hosts a Rally Cross and Rally Sprint competition from February 14th to 16th, 2025.

This highly anticipated event follows the grand opening of the Reservoir Range Racetrack on February 8, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the country’s sporting landscape. This historic event will be the first-ever competition on the new racetrack at the Reservoir Range Racetrack.

Located at Potworks Dam, St. Peters, the newly constructed Reservoir Range Racetrack offers a state-of-the-art facility designed to elevate Antigua’s profile in motorsport and outdoor recreation. It will provide a venue for competition, skill development, and economic growth, positioning the island as a new hub for motorsports in the region.

The facility is easily accessible and features a prominent sign outside, labelled ‘Reservoir Range’ with a canon. In addition to motorsport competitions, the facility will also host activities such as clay shooting, paintball, and motocross on other days.

This inaugural competition will feature exhilarating races in the Open Class and Bimma Cup categories. With drivers from across the Caribbean already preparing for the challenge, the competition promises to be a thrilling showcase of speed and skill.

An ambitious and passionate entrepreneur, Mr. Carlo Falcone, has been a driving force behind this event. Known for his significant contributions to both sailing and motorsport, Mr. Falcone emphasized the broader impact of this event, noting it will help elevate Antigua and Barbuda’s standing in the global motorsport community.

“As a member of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), the governing body for motorsports worldwide, Antigua Pro Racing is proud to be affiliated with FIA, who works towards obtaining the highest standards for safety, sustainability, and inclusivity,” said Mr. Falcone. “This competition is not only a thrilling event for motorsport fans but also a key development in fostering a culture of sports and recreation in Antigua and Barbuda.”

The three-day event, taking place from February 14th to 16th, will kick off with a day of testing on Friday, followed by the highly anticipated Rally Sprint on Saturday, February 15th. The competition will conclude on Sunday, February 16th, with the exciting Rally Cross event and a prize-giving ceremony. Whether you’re a motorsport enthusiast or simply looking for a fun day out with the family, this event promises an action-packed weekend for all.

Gates will open at 10:00 AM each day, and tickets are available for just $25 XCD for adults, with children entering for free. The event is set to be a memorable experience for both locals and visitors alike. For more information, please contact 268-736-0230.
