Police have launched yet another major search for missing Bolans resident and LGBTQ+ Activist Orden ‘Passo’ David who haven’t been seen since January 25, 2025.
Police have fanned out across the Pares area, the same area where his burnt-out Honda Fit was found last Saturday.
David, who resides in Bolans, was last seen wearing a red vest and grey shorts, driving a black Honda Fit with the registration number A60870.
Witnesses indicate that he was last seen entering his black Honda Fit at Percival’s Gas Station on the night he disappeared, but it remains unclear which direction he took afterward.
A missing person report was filed at the Bolans Police Station on Sunday, leading to several search efforts that, unfortunately, have not yielded any results.
David is a counselor at the AIDS Secretariat and is well-known for his advocacy for LGBTQ rights.
He played a crucial role in the landmark 2022 court decision that deemed Antigua and Barbuda’s 1995 Sexual Offences Act unconstitutional, marking a significant win for the LGBTQ community.
Anyone with information that could help in finding David is encouraged to reach out to the Bolans Police Station at 462-1080 or the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913.
Why this UNPRECEDENTED Police involvement. Families and friends of persons who have issuing without a trace continue to suffer heartbreaking lyrics in silence. Their quiet, long suffering has again been brought to the fore. Where was this heavy and visible police presence during previous searches? Where was Jacqui Quinn and her tin soldiers when young FEMALE, Ms. Christian from Marble Hill disappeared mysteriously a few months ago. Was the fact that the missing young woman was very closely related to – a family member of a former prominent ABLP Parliamentarian??? And what of the other grieving parents, wives, husbands, children, brothers, sisters, dear friends. How do you explain the grand masquerade that is unfolding daily before our eyes?
However, for what it’s worth, keep on trying. At the end of this exercise, the families of all who have suffered similar fates should be brought together for a genuine national service of commital and intercession for the souls of ALL who, sadly, met this horrendous fate. The Village continues to mourn.
Yeah. But be reminded that the story went down the same road. They searched everything goes quiet. Don’t you think that after they find the car they will begin to search again? At least the exact area. Some of you have no sort of sympathy for people. May Orden be found. I still have hope
Faithful National I feel you. I feel your frustration but just like the others the search will eventually end if he isnt found. Let us come together as a family, as a country and bond during this time, not hate each other
Though you have some solid points. Check your facts. Jacqui Quinn and Mary John did play a role in organizing searches for Donna Marie
Dammed if you do, dammed if you don’t.
As one part close another part open………….. All hope is lost
As one part close another part open………….. All hope is lost. Just like every other missing case.
