‘Vampire Killer’ To Finally Stand Trial This Year After Seven-Year Delay

Delano Forbes

One of the Antigua’s most notorious murder cases will finally move forward this year, as Delano Forbes prepares to face trial for four separate homicides that rocked this small island nation between late 2017 and 2018.

Forbes will enter the courthouse for his trial on May 6.

The victims – Wilfred “Bongo” Williams of Swetes, Shawn Henry from Point, Lisue Williams from All Saints Road, and Maurison Thomas of All Saints – were killed in separate incidents that authorities allege bear striking similarities.

The first three murders led to Forbes’ initial arrest in 2017, with the fourth charge added following Thomas’s death in 2018.

During their initial investigation, law enforcement officials reported finding two bottles containing what appeared to be blood near the suspect’s Swetes residence, leading to widespread media coverage and Forbes’ tabloid moniker as the “Vampire Killer.”

Despite the sensational aspects of the case, Forbes has maintained his innocence, entering not guilty pleas to all four murder charges.

  1. It took them seven years before going to trial. Why so long is what I would like to know and the man says he is innocent. Now, suppose he is? Who is going to be responsible for those seven years of his life?

  3. How is it that we are still dealing with this dude? I thought this man was already with his other vampires? By the time some of these people are brought before the courts they would have already served their sentences
