If you were near the airport a few hours ago and heard a loud explosion or felt a significant shaking, it was not an earthquake.

Contractors failed to use dynamite to demolish the Allen Stanford Tower on the airport road. Reports indicate that the DCA did not approve the removal of the tower.

Road clearing is currently taking place in the area, but Antigua.news could not verify who is clearing the land or the specific purpose of the clearing.

Nearby offices experienced intense shaking from the explosion. The police are currently on the scene.

They should use dynamite to demolish that tower with ease.
