Three individuals have been granted bail after appearing in court on charges related to stealing agricultural produce valued at EC$831 from a Lightfoot West farm earlier this month.
Jermaine Julian, Dawn Berry, and Brionne Simon appeared before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel last week to face charges stemming from the March 9 incident.
According to court documents, the stolen items included 99 coconuts (EC$495), 26 finger roses (EC$130), sugar canes (EC$35), custard apples (EC$80), guavas (EC$30), nine papayas (EC$46), and green papayas (EC$15).
In addition to the theft charges, Julian and Simon face separate counts of unlawful entry onto the property.
The defendants have not yet entered pleas in the case. Their attorney requested disclosure of the evidence against them during the initial court appearance.
The case has been adjourned until May 26, when all three defendants are scheduled to return to court.
