A Dominican man identified as Kimmon Emmanuel has succumbed to injuries following a shooting incident which occurred in the City of Roseau at about 6:30 p.m on Sunday.

Information from local police states that Emmanuel and another male were shot and both transported to the main hospital, the Dominica China Friendship Hospital and were being treated for gunshot wounds to their upper torso. 

Presently, the Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) is actively investigating a homicide and an attempted murder in relation to this incident.
