Prime Minister Gaston Browne believes that local artists in Antigua and Barbuda are not reaching their full potential and are too focused on domestic markets.

He compared prominent artists such as Claudette Peters, Tian Winter, and Burning Flames to Dominican Bouyon artist Asa Banton, suggesting that they could achieve greater success.
