Following Tuesday’s committal proceedings, Reuben Forde will face a High Court judge on charges related to a violent incident that left a man with a neck wound.
The case, stemming from events on March 24, 2024, was transferred to the higher court by Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel, with hearings expected to begin as early as September.
Forde faces a series of serious allegations, including attempted murder, inflicting grievous bodily harm, firearm discharge in a public space, and illegal weapons possession. The charges are connected to an altercation where Dwayne Desilver sustained a gunshot wound to the neck.
The defendant will remain in custody as the judicial process moves forward to the High Court phase.
