Update: Man Found Dead At Mamora Bay Was A Lithuanian National

The man police found floating in the waters of Mamora Bay on Friday morning, was a Lithuanian national who was scheduled to have departed the island on Thursday.

Police have launched an investigation after the discovery of the lifeless body of the 40-year-old, shortly after 7am.

A post mortem is to determine the cause of his death.

The man arrived in Antigua in May 8. His name is being withheld, pending notification of his family in Lithuania, a country in Europe’s Baltic region.
