As the education sector transitions with all four tertiary institutions now falling under one umbrella, Antigua and Barbuda College of Advanced Studies, the respective campuses will be renamed in honor of former educators.
Education Minister Daryll Matthew made the revelation during Thursday’s Parliament sitting.
He stated that it is imperative that persons who would have significantly contributed to education be recognized for their efforts.
The names are already nice the way they are. Yall don’t find it’s a little too late?
What was Parliament really called for..to bash the teachers and give buildings names??.. what about naming the streets in our country instead? Imagine I born here and don’t know the name of the street I was born on or live on
.. chuptz
The minister just want to appear like he doing something great. Changing the name really and truly means nothing!
