The Government of Antigua and Barbuda is poised to enhance the Simon Bolivar Pre-School in Sutherlands, pending resources from the Embassy of Venezuela.

Lionel ‘Max’ Hurst, the Chief of Staff within the Office of the Prime Minister, shared this information during a Cabinet Press Briefing last Thursday. He stated, “The Embassy of Venezuela is making some of the resources available to us at this very time, so once the resources become available, the work will begin immediately.”

The Cabinet’s decision on Wednesday to proceed with the upgrade follows the pre-school’s decades of successful operation in the community.

An investment of nearly EC$100,000 is earmarked for the project, which will enhance the school’s buildings, interiors, and furniture. The Embassy of Venezuela, which originally gifted the pre-school to the community, will also contribute to this significant upgrade.

    • That’s why the reports need to keep at them. Every chance they get they should probe matter like that that never seems to have a start date.
Look at ABS they moving over 20 years now and they still in the same building.
I hear they have to move Caribbean Cinemas over 5 years now.
Now is sunshine park. That’s another “anytime soon” project
