In response to strong demand last summer and a surge of interest in this year’s Antigua Carnival and Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 cricket matches, The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority has announced the addition of two special non-stop flights with Caribbean Airlines between Toronto and Antigua and Barbuda this summer.
“More Canadians than ever are choosing Antigua and Barbuda as their go-to summer destination, and this expanded service by Caribbean Airlines directly reflects that momentum,” said Tameka Wharton, Director of Tourism, Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority. “Given the strong interest we’ve seen from the Canadian market, these flights offer more convenient access for travellers looking to experience the key summer events in Antigua and Barbuda.”
The flights will operate on the following dates:
• Departure from Toronto: July 31 | Return: August 6
• Departure from Toronto: August 16 | Return: August 23
These special flights offer Canadian revellers and cricket fans timely and direct access to the twin-island nation, complementing the existing weekly service from Air Canada and WestJet on Sundays.
This year’s Antigua Carnival, known as the “Caribbean’s Greatest Summer Festival,” will take place from July 25 to August 5, drawing visitors from across the globe for two weeks of music, culture, and celebration. In August, the island will also host matches for the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) T20 Cricket at the iconic Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, another major draw for both local and international fans.
With seamless flight options and a packed summer calendar, Antigua and Barbuda continues to strengthen its position as a leading Caribbean destination for Canadian travellers seeking both relaxation and world-class events. Travellers are encouraged to book early, as demand is expected to remain high throughout the season.
Seats are limited and are available for booking now at Caribbean Airlines website.
