The Alfa Nero saga; is it nearing its close? Or was this latest court victory simply the closing of yet another chapter?
With all the chatter surrounding this prolonged affair, one issue that consistently jumped to the forefront was this: is it ethical to pay for the defense of government officials with public funds?
Gangster Brown AKA Hitler is more to me as a crime minister instead of a prime minister. That’s the behavior of a thief.
He’s killing his citizens pockets for his mistake! It’s like we are paying for a crime we didn’t commit! Gaston knew what he was doing, he ordered his steps
no it’s not ethical but they are going to do it anyway because who is going to challenge them??
THE PEOPLE ——- Whose HARD-EARNED TAX $$$$$ are UNETHICALLY TAKEN TO PAY The LEGAL FEES Of Persons Who ACTUALLY CALED This “Opportunity” (to ‘Huff’ the Russian Owners Luxury Yacht) A “Windfall” ——
…….. WE THE PEOPLE MUST COME Together TO CHALLENGE THIS!!!!
…….. Just cast OUR MINDS Back to THE MANNER In Which THIS Entire Debacle was handled in THE HIGHEST LAW MAKING AUTHORITY of Our Nation …..
……. The persons involved continually BOAST of THEIR MILLIONS —- Now BILLIONS …..
…….. LET THEM USE THEIR (??? I’ll gotten gains) Billions to Pay their LEGAL FEES ……. Stop FEEDING on THE POOR People of our 🇦🇬……
The opposition is trying to take the ball in their court in defense to dismiss Gaston as Prime Minister. I must say. This will never happen! UPP cannot win the ABLP so anything to turn away the population they will use in their defense
ÞotaTotallyagree with you, the Opposition is lethal to their own downfall not Gaston and will never win cause they care nothing about the people
Can they stop blaming the opposition for crimes they commit . Seriously!!
the liyadd WICKED UPP needs to accept responsibility for this and other smear campaigns they brought against Antigua, all in their quest for thirsty power!
Never mix politics with morality, for there is hardly anything moral in politics.
The question remains; was it right to sell the Alfa Nero and to keep the proceeds ?
The lies:
1. The owners of the vessel was not known.
2. The yatch was abandoned.
3. The owners did not make timely contact with the Antiguan Authority.
Questions:
1. Is our Port Authority so inept that a vessel of that size would have been allowed to port in Antigua without the proper documentation ?
2. If proper documentation was presented to the Port Authority, why was the ownership of the vessel in question?
Seem as if the plight of the Alfa Nero under sanction invited ravenous wolves on the prowl.
The fact of the matter is people have seen through the wickedness of these Russians. The case was a fishing expedition and now we babe the proof
Don’t be so quick to rejoyce. I dont trust the Russians. They will appeal.
