As Centenarian Week 2025 continues under the theme “Honouring Our Elders, Preserving Our Heritage, ” the Community Development and Citizens’ Engagement Division under the Ministry of Social and Urban Transformation has been actively celebrating the lives and contributions of Antigua and Barbuda’s treasured centenarians.

On Tuesday, June 10, the Division kicked off its Visitation and Gift Basket Distribution initiative. This heartfelt tradition honours the resilience and wisdom of those who have reached the remarkable milestone of 100 years and beyond. Gift baskets filled with essentials and thoughtful items were hand-delivered to several centenarians across the island, bringing smiles, gratitude, and joy to homes and families.
