Wow! what’s the crazy part about this video is that these Antiguans are still going to judge these young men!
This makes me so happy to see. Keep on pushing young men for the honest works of your hands will certainly bless you and your family.
best thing you guys could have ever done with your lives.. and learning a skill at the same time
I am happy to see this just last week a non Antiguan with a Job in Antigua told me Antiguan young men lazy, don’t want to work only smoke weed and sit on the corner, keep up the good work, drink vitamins, pray and stay focus God’s blessings youngsters
This is what should be happening anyway – older generations training younger ones. Eventually the young ones move up the ladder to start their own businesses etc. Formal education is only one way of being trained. Once there are experienced contractors managing everything they absolutely should take in the inexperienced workers. There is huge need for persons skilled in construction to build affordable climate-resilient homes for rentals, sales etc., also to modernize buildings in the city, also to build commercial areas in outside of the city in villages etc. Lots of opportunities to be pioneers in building rowhouses, proper apartments, affordable small houses etc. Not sure why anyone would look down on construction work as it is greatly needed in the country.
The future of Antigua’s construction industry looks brighter with young, dedicated talent stepping up. This video story shows that investing in vocational training and empowering our youth to enter skilled trades is key to both individual success and national development. Keep building those dreams, fellas!
