Motorists warned of traffic restrictions due to ongoing OAS Assembly

Motorists are being advised of traffic restrictions in the AUA area as the Organisation of American States (OAS) General Assembly is taking place.

The notice came from the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda to facilitate the flow of traffic in and out the American University of Antigua (AUA).

Access to a portion of Jabberwock Public Road between the junction of Sir George Walters Highway, Beachcomber and Jabberwock in the vicinity of ABIIT and the junction with Country Club and Hodges Bay will be closed to all vehicular traffic from Wednesday, 25th June, 5am to Friday 26th June 2025 6pm.

Drivers are asked to take alternative routes.
