The police are investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred along the Bethesda main road on Friday, June 27.
The incident occurred around 3:57 p.m. in the vicinity Crazy’s Junk Yard involving a rose-coloured Toyota Vitz motor car, R3494, driven by 63-year-old Victor Ramsey, a Guyanese national who last resided at Villa.
Police arrived at the scene and found the vehicle overturned on its roof off the eastern side of the road. It is unclear at this time in which direction the vehicle was travelling.
The driver was transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre by emergency personnel with severe injury to his left leg. Despite efforts to resuscitate him, he was later pronounced dead by a medical doctor.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is ongoing. The police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has relevant information to contact the Freetown Police Station at 460-4121, or the Traffic Department at 462-0125.

This news about Victor Ramsey, it just breaks your heart, doesn’t it? Another life lost on our roads. It’s so tragic.
I dont know him just like i dont know the other people who died what i know is that these accidents are much much too frequent.
That’s my uncle. We are saddened at the suddenness of this loss and are praying especially for his wife and children.
