  1. For many of us who depend on travel to the US we certainly hope we wont be impacted

  2. Honestly, when I hear about a potential US travel ban, my stomach just drops. So many of us have family in the States, or depend on tourism from there. Prime Minister Browne saying he’s ‘confident’ we’ll avoid it is… reassuring, I guess, but I still feel a knot in my stomach. We’ve seen how quickly these things can change. I really hope the government is doing everything possible behind the scenes to address whatever concerns the US has, especially with our CIP. It’s not just about politics; it’s about our livelihoods and our families being able to visit each other. I’ll breathe easier when I see concrete proof we’re in the clear.

  3. Honestly and frankfully speaking, it’s hard to feel completely reassured by the Prime Minister’s confidence. Coming to think if it, travel bans can be influenced by numerous unpredictable factors, including international relations and domestic policies. Just because a meeting was held doesn’t necessarily mean that Antigua and Barbuda are off the hook. I guess only time will tell if the optimism is justified.

  4. I really hope it doesn’t affect antigua and barbuda because that would be a tragedy.
