Young Antiguan cricketers Dante Odlum and Ondre Peters
Two young Antiguan cricketers have returned home after completing their term at the Harrow School in London.
Dante Odlum from the Antigua Grammar School and Ondre Peters from the Princess Margaret School underwent interviews and were chosen to embark on a seven-week scholarship at Harrow School from April to June.
The exchange program is an ongoing collaboration between the UK High Commission and Antigua and Barbuda and has over the years seen several cricketers participate.
Her Excellency Karen-Mae Hill, High Commissioner of Antigua and Barbuda, and the Hon. Daryll Matthew, Minister of Education, Sports and the Creative Industries, extend warm wishes to young cricketers Dante and Ondre as they return home after completing their term in London.
They also express heartfelt thanks to Harrow School for welcoming Antiguan and Barbudan students for a second year—giving them the chance to pursue both academic studies and cricket development at one of the UK’s top schools.
Foreign Affairs Minister E.P. Chet Greene reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to creating more life-changing opportunities like this for our youth.
