Two men have been remanded in custody after appearing before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel today in connection with an armed robbery at the All Saints Service Station.

Thirty-year-old Ernesto Estevan Lawrence of Swetes Village and 18-year-old Maurice Belgrave Jr. of All Saints were denied bail and will return to court on September 24, 2025.

The men face charges stemming from an incident that occurred on Saturday, June 28, 2025, when an armed assailant entered the All Saints Service Station and robbed pump attendants of over $4000. A single gunshot was discharged during the robbery, though no injuries were reported.

Both men have been charged with aggravated robbery, while Lawrence faces additional charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and discharging a firearm.

Additionally, both men face charges related to unlawful possession of twelve rounds of .32 ammunition.

Police say they continue to investigate the case and are urging anyone with information that could assist their ongoing investigations to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or Crimestoppers at 800-TIPS (8477).

  6. Sometimes I scroll through the different media outlets online and it is really hard to hear about incidents like this happening in our community. Armed robbery is never taken lightly, especially when a firearm is involved. It’s fortunate that no one was injured, but it’s alarming how quickly things can escalate in such situations. I hope justice is served and that the community feels safe again soon.
