The APUA Water Business Unit advises of upcoming water infrastructure upgrades

The APUA Water Business Unit is pleased to announce the successful completion of recent pipe replacement works on St. George’s Street. This project is part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the water distribution infrastructure throughout the city.

The next phase of our upgrade initiative is set to begin on Wednesday, July 9, 2025. This phase will focus on St. John’s Street, specifically between Popeshead Street and Wilkinson Cross. The anticipated duration for this work is approximately three weeks.

We urge all motorists and residents to exercise caution during this period. Please refrain from parking within the designated work zone to ensure our teams can carry out the necessary upgrades safely and efficiently.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we strive to improve the quality and reliability of our water services. Thank you for your continued support.

  3. I love to see that APUA is working! But working and leaving the road mashed up is not real work. Our cars are at risk.

  4. Thanks for the update, but will traffic be diverted? That section of St. John’s Street is already congested most days.
