Today, His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, Governor‑General of Antigua and Barbuda, administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr. James Spencer (second from right) as a newly appointed member of the Public Service Board of Appeal.

Mr. Spencer was nominated by the Antigua and Barbuda Public Service Association (ABPSA), and was supported during the ceremony by ABPSA President Ms. Joan Peters ( to his left) and General Secretary Ms. Janella Evanson (extreme left).

The Public Service Board of Appeal is the statutory body that hears and adjudicates appeals by public and police officers in disciplinary and removal cases under constitutional and legislative provisions .

  2. With public and police officer appeals at stake, I hope the board prioritizes timely hearings and clear rulings. Justice delayed is dignity denied.
