24 year old arrested for Unlawful Cannabis Possession

On the afternoon of July 24th, police arrested a 24-year-old man from Oliver’s for the unlawful possession of cannabis. The incident occurred on Redcliffe Street in St John’s.

The 24-year-old has been formally charged with unlawful possession of 46.6 grams of cannabis.

 

With this arrest, along with recent others connected to controlled substances, law enforcement appears to be prioritizing the curbing of drug related offenses in Antigua and Barbuda.
