
Shalom Bailey of Yorks has been remanded for fatal shooting at GSpot Nightclub
A Yorks resident has been sent to His Majesty’s Prison following his court appearance on charges stemming from a deadly shooting at a well-known entertainment venue.
Shalom Bailey, 32, was brought to court to face murder and attempted murder charges related to the May 15th, 2024 shooting at Asylum Night Club also known as Gspot.
The alleged incident occurred on when Bailey allegedly opened fire on two patrons before escaping from the premises. The shooting claimed the life of Kevin Vaceannie, 24, who succumbed to his injuries at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre. A second victim, Darien Rover from Cassada Gardens, was wounded but survived after receiving medical attention.
Bailey has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to return to court on December 11th for his next hearing.

Mi Bex no wahh to see someone like Mr Shalom Bailey, with no regard for human life, involved in such a horrific act. This kind of violence is unacceptable, especially in a place meant for entertainment and enjoyment. The pain and suffering caused by his actions are unimaginable, and it’s sickening to think about the impact on the victims and their families. Justice needs to be served, and he must be held fully accountable for what he has done
