A 10-year-old female patient at the S.L.B.M.C. Pediatric Ward was reportedly sexually assaulted by a 12-year-old male patient who was a patient at that same ward.

The incident occurred on July 29, 2025, at approximately 3:49 PM.

According to reports, a House Officer at the ward alerted the Criminal Investigation Department (C.I.D.) following the allegation.

  1. WHAT😳 they are kids! How can a 12 year old be this corrupt already? That is the problem with our society today

    • Watched tv or been on social media or walked the streets or been in schools lately?
Every single thing is sexualized. Sadly, we are more interested in being our child’s friend than being their parents n protectors. So their little minds are warped into thinking anything goes for everyone.
We need Yahweh in our lives and homes

    • Do you know the impact that social media, tv and music can have? Plenty 12yr olds I am sure know more sexual positions than you do

    • This is spiritual warfare. Sexual demons are let loose very heavy because of the season. It’s the deeds of the older people who should be examples affecting the young ones and it shows.

  3. Your country? This is child’s play around the world. Yal better wake up and get the proper infrastructure in place to diagnose and treat these mentally sick people from a young age, keep them away from functioning society. This is sickening and so sad.

  5. Who did the twelve year old learn this from? Was he sexually abused as well? Dig into his background and arrest whoever has been molesting him. Also provide counseling and whatever support is needed to him and to his victim because if this is not dealt with now, a lifetime of hurt and criminality will ensue.

  6. As a young person, this is really shocking and heartbreaking. I can’t believe something like this could happen in a place like a pediatric ward, where kids should feel safe and cared for. It’s just so wrong that a young girl had to go through such a traumatic experience. I’m really glad that the House Officer reported it to the authorities, but it makes me wonder about how we can better protect kids in these environments. We need to have more awareness and support in places like this, so nothing like this happens again. My thoughts are with the young girl and her family. your bravey shows you are strong. Good that you reported it. Many people dont

  7. This is an utterly appalling and stomach-churning allegation. A pediatric ward is a sanctuary for our sickest children. The thought of an indecent assault occurring there is a profound violation of trust and a crime that must be condemned in the strongest possible terms.

  9. As a parent, my heart aches for that little girl and her family. This should never happen in a hospital, let alone a pediatric ward. I’m absolutely outraged and demand to know what measures are being taken to ensure the safety of our kids! How can we trust that our children will be protected when they are most vulnerable? This is beyond unacceptable!.
