Antigua and Barbuda Ranks 4th in Caribbean Passport Power

Antigua and Barbuda has the 5th strongest passport in the Caribbean and 26th position globally, with visa-free access to 152 destinations worldwide, according to the latest Henley Passport Index rankings.

Leading the Caribbean rankings is Barbados at 20th globally with visa-free access to 163 destinations, followed by the Bahamas in 21st place offering access to 159 destinations, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at 24th with 156 accessible locations.

Antigua and Barbuda’s fifth-place Caribbean ranking puts it just behind Saint Kitts and Nevis, which holds 25th place globally with visa-free travel to 154 destinations. The nation’s passport strength demonstrates the effectiveness of Caribbean diplomatic relationships and positions it ahead of several major world economies.

The region’s passport dominance continues with Trinidad and Tobago at 28th globally with access to 148 destinations, Grenada at 29th place with 147 visa-free locations, and Saint Lucia at 30th internationally, allowing travel to 146 destinations without prior visas.

Other Caribbean nations maintaining strong positions include Dominica at 32nd place globally with access to 143 destinations, while Jamaica sits further down at 56th with 88 visa-free destinations.

The Henley Passport Index, considered the most authoritative ranking of global passport strength, measures visa-free access across 227 travel destinations worldwide. Singapore leads the global rankings with access to 193 destinations, followed by Japan at 190.
