Affordable Tyres D&Y Sparkling Donates 10 Wheelchairs to Persons with Disabilities
Affordable Tyres D&Y Sparkling has made a meaningful contribution to the Antigua and Barbuda Association of Persons with Disabilities with the donation of 10 wheelchairs.
Senator Michael Freeland, Chair of the National Social Protection Board, praised the donation, calling it a vital step toward greater independence for many in the disabled community.
“These aren’t just wheelchairs, they’re gateways to independence, dignity, and full participation in our society.” Freeland Said.
Bernard Warner, President of the Association, shared how the donation will impact lives directly. “10 lives being changed. 10 people going to the supermarket, 10 people going to carnival next year, or even church.” he said.
Senator Freeland emphasized that Social protection works best when we all play our part, government, businesses, and citizens working together to lift each other up and ensure no one is left behind
