A 7-year-old girl reportedly told her mother that a neighbor had inappropriately touched her, prompting a police investigation. The incident occurred in community located on the west of the island.

The alleged incident occurred sometime after 3:00 PM on August 10, when the child went to the neighbor’s home to fill a bottle of water.

According to police, the girl told officers that the neighbor asked for a hug and, during the hug, squeezed her bottom.

The Grays Farm Police Station confirmed that the alleged offender, who was present during the child’s interview, was arrested and taken into custody for investigation.

  5. This is a sickening and horrific act. What does this child have to offer to this man. What a sick and twisted thing to even bring your self to do.

  6. That is why the authorities need to published the names of all the sexual offenders in the country. We need to know who our neighbors are living next to us and in our communities. I don’t believe it’s the first time this alleged had committed such awful acts against a child. The hand he used to molested the child need to remove from his body.
Maybe the authorities are waiting for the parents to sharpen their cutlasses and take matters in their own hands for their children.

  7. Very unfortunate indeed. But there is a lot beneath the surface that needs to be addressed. Society justifies, condones and encourages so many other aspects of immortality that people’s minds are saturated with evil. Even little children are trained to dance in a very sexually explicit way, all in the name of culture.
Everything immoral multiplies during the Carnival Season. More drunkenness, more violence, more unwanted pregnancies, more vulgarity, more violence. And it is all accepted.
THIS IS NOT AN ISOLATED CASE It is an epidemic not only in Antigua but in the decadent Western nations.

  8. Fortunately the child told someone. All children should be trained to do this. They should be taught that there are body parts nobody is allowed to touch.

  9. Monsters don’t deserve to walk this earth! You’re telling me a 7 year old? And then they wonder why some people don’t trust or like neighbors. Trying to touch a 7 year old just for some water? KILL HIM

  11. Seven years? Well the islands refuse to have a sex offenders registry. This man is not safe in that village

  13. This situation is not just isolated to Antigua and Barbuda. These grown pedophiles are everywhere. They are in so many communities. And sometimes their parents allow these so called neighbours and uncles to babysit these children. We have to pay more attention to who we let around our children
