Domestic Dispute Leads to Violent Confrontation at SLBMC Parking Lot

A late-night domestic dispute at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre (SLBMC) escalated into violence on Sunday, August 17, when a vehicle was damaged and a woman was allegedly attacked with a knife.

According to police reports, a man reported that his spouse punctured the rear tire of his SUV while it was parked at the hospital. The incident is said to have followed a verbal altercation between the couple.

The situation reportedly intensified when the man later left the hospital in a staff bus accompanied by a female companion.

While making a stop in Ottos to collect a staff member, the spouse allegedly exited a vehicle that had been following the bus, approached the female companion with a knife, grabbed onto her clothing, and made repeated attempts to stab her.

The man intervened and was able to separate the two women and disarm the attacker. He later handed over the knife to police officers. Upon inspection, officers confirmed that the tire of the SUV had been punctured with a sharp object.

  9. Some women just like to pappy show themselves. Another woman cannot take your man unless the man wants to be taken. By her conduct persons will question her character instead of the man. Come on ladies be classy. There are other ways of dealing with the situation.
