New Spectator Stand Rising at Bolans Playing Field

22 August 2025 - 13:36

The Bolans community is set to benefit from a major upgrade to its recreational space, as construction of a modern spectator stand at the Bolans Playing Field continues to advance at a rapid pace.

ABLP caretaker for St. Mary’s South, Dwayne George, confirmed the progress this week, describing the project as “another step forward” in providing residents with improved sporting and cultural facilities.

The new stand, designed to be both comfortable and functional, is expected to serve the community for years to come by creating a more welcoming environment for spectators at football matches, cricket games, and cultural events.

George expressed appreciation to Public Works Minister Maria Browne and her team for their dedication to the project.

Once completed, the stand is expected to play a key role in supporting the development of youth sports and providing a venue for community gatherings, reflecting the government’s ongoing commitment to investing in recreational infrastructure across the country.
