Shoppers at Perry Bay Supermarket were left shaking their heads moments ago, when the driver decided to turn the parking lot into his personal blockade.
The vehicle was left in such a way that another motorist was trapped for more than 30 minutes, unable to move forward or back. The supermarket’s security officer claimed she never saw the driver, leaving the stranded motorist “sandwiched” between vehicles.

Fortunately, after half an hour of frustration, the vehicle at the front finally pulled off, creating enough space for the trapped driver to escape.
But the big question remains: who is the mystery driver of A71962 — and what possible state of mind could lead someone to abandon their vehicle in a spot that blocks everyone else? Was it negligence, arrogance, or sheer parking-lot insanity?

I don’t understand people and so…. You know you’re not supposed to do it yet you do it. Where was Perry pay security
hahhahahahahhaha. Your reporters are very skillful. This is hillarious but serious in he same breath. Too bad for that driver. He was placed on blast.

Let me tell you! I don’t think I would be able to follow any other news outlet but Antigua.news! It’s just drama!
Antiguans are just STUPID PEOPLE THAT LIKE DRAMA AND NOT PEACE…. BIG MOUTH IDIOTS….
Yeah. And some people are too dumb and restarted, why not talk about that? How can you park where you are not suppose to be parking? That’s just so retarded and dumb! Should’ve towed him away, that’s what. He’d be mad if that has to happen to him
Someway. You must let these people learn in Antigua. Out of order.
CHUPS thats news?
Who needs Fast & Furious when you have Perry Bay parking lot on a Saturday afternoon?
Stuck between two lovers….feeling like a fool
This happened at CIBC last week when a customer of the bank left his vesicle in the driveway to go into the bank.
The security wasn’t even aware as we all sat in our cars unsure of what was causing the back up for such a long time. Self righteous, inconsiderate behavior is becoming the norm on our roads.
Being an American and having just visited Antigua, I’m not sure why this is surprising. Everywhere I traveled on the island cars were parked in places that they shouldn’t be. It’s a small island with a lack of space and incredibly tight roads that are a minefield of potholes and seldom have actual lane lines. I don’t understand the surprise caused by this incident.
