Earlier this week, His Excellency Sir Rodney Williams, Governor General of Antigua and Barbuda, administered the oath of office to two new Notaries Public during a ceremony at Government House.

Ms. Latoya A. Letlow and Mr. Wesley L. George were officially sworn in on the advice of the Chief Justice of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court. The event included the formal taking of oaths and the signing of the Book of Oaths, witnessed by officials, family members, and friends.

In congratulating the new appointees, Sir Rodney expressed confidence that both will uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism, noting that their service will help maintain public trust in the nation’s legal system.

Notaries Public are authorized officers who perform key legal functions, such as administering oaths, witnessing signatures, and certifying affidavits and deeds.
