Pearl Williams
Antigua and Barbuda’s Family Court is set to welcome a new magistrate.
Pearl Williams of Dominica will assume her judicial duties starting Monday.
Williams distinguished herself in her home country by achieving two historic firsts – becoming Dominica’s inaugural Kalinago attorney in 2010, followed by her appointment as the first indigenous person to serve as magistrate in 2016.
Williams’ substantial judicial background as crucial for handling the intricate family law cases that come before the court.

So her historical achievements are based solely on her heritage?
Congratulations Pearl🇩🇲
Thank you Jehovah. Let’s hope this one actually puts children’s welfare first instead of focusing on adults’ interaction.
Congrats and welcome! Fresh expertise is always good for the justice system.
With her experience, I’m confident she will handle family law cases with fairness and understanding. The court is in capable hands.
Looking forward to seeing the positive impact Magistrate Williams will have on families and the wider community. Welcome to Antigua and Barbuda!
