Passengers at the West Bus Station Terminal were left in shock on Saturday after a bus suddenly caught fire on the premises.
Video footage circulating on social media shows thick black smoke billowing from the vehicle as bystanders rushed to safety.
The Fire Department was called to the scene and quickly brought the blaze under control. No injuries have been reported at this time, though the bus sustained extensive damage.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Officials from the Antigua and Barbuda Transport Board and emergency services are expected to carry out further assessments.
The incident has raised fresh concerns about vehicle safety and maintenance standards for public transportation.

The last line! I really do wonder with some of these buses, are there any rule or anything in the conditions these buses suppose to be? Cause some of these buses should be taken off the road
Glad to know that everyone is safe and Atleast no one was in the bus! This could have been a tragedy
How on earth did this happen?
WOWWWW Thank God no one was injured cause that was a close call
Just so? I. Am happy no-one got hurt.
I wonder what caused the fire mechanical failure, electrical issues, or something else?
